Overview

ArenaPulse ("we", "our", or "the app") is a sports scoreboard application that displays live scores and game data sourced from public ESPN APIs. We are committed to protecting your privacy and keeping your data minimal.

Data We Store Locally

We do not require an account or login to use the app. The following preferences are stored only on your device in local browser storage:

• Selected sports, leagues, and status filters
• Favorite teams
• Display settings (accent color, density, theme, TV mode preferences)
• Orientation and refresh preferences

This data never leaves your device unless you create an account and log in.

Account Data

If you choose to create an account, we store your email address and any role assigned to your account. Account data is used solely for authentication and access management. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page.

Game Data

Live scores and game information are fetched in real time from public ESPN APIs. We do not own or control this data and do not store it on our servers beyond the duration needed to display it in the app.

Payments

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed securely through Stripe. We do not collect or store your card details — Stripe handles all payment information. Transaction metadata (including the app ID) is used for tracking purposes only.

Third-Party Services

The app interacts with the following third-party services:

• ESPN — public sports data API for live scores
• Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions

Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

No Tracking or Advertising

We do not use tracking pixels, analytics that identify you personally, or third-party advertising networks. We do not sell or share your data with anyone.

Data Retention

Local preferences persist until you clear browser data or delete your account. Account data is retained until account deletion is requested.

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting in the app.
